Industrial Bank makes switching your accounts hassle-free!

Step 1: Open an Industrial Bank checking account.

• Apply for an Industrial Bank CheckCard for access to over 32,000 Surcharge ATM’s.

Step 2: Start using your new Industrial Bank account.

• Begin using your new Industrial Bank checking account. Be sure to enroll in our free online services such as Money Manager Online.
• Stop using your old account and allow time for outstanding checks, debit card purchases and automatic payments to clear - usually around 10 business days.

Step 3: Transfer automatic payments and direct deposits to Industrial Bank.

Transfer any payments (such as insurance and club memberships) that are automatically deducted from your old account to your new Industrial Bank checking account.

We’ve created the necessary forms to make the process even easier:

• Automated Payments*- to switch automatic payments to your new Industrial Bank account
• Payroll/Direct Deposits*- to switch payroll/direct deposit to your new Industrial Bank account
• Social Security Direct Deposit *- to switch Social Security direct deposit to your new Industrial Bank account

Then, monitor your account with Money Manager Online to know when all automatic payments and debits have been transferred to your new Industrial Bank account.

Once all outstanding checks have cleared your old account and all automatic payments and debits have been transferred, instruct your old bank to close the account with this letter:

• Account Closing* - to notify your old bank that you are closing your account(s)
