Aug. 20, 1934, Founder Jesse H. Mitchell opened the doors
of Industrial Bank for the first time. Today, it is one
of the largest African-American owned and operated commercial
banks in the United States. |
On August 20, 2004, Industrial Bank celebrated its 70th
anniversary – a Legacy of Unwavering Commitment to
the Greater Washington, DC Community. Today, we continue
to focus on the building blocks of success that have long
